The Trail Jogger’s Guide to Pretending You’re Not Dying
Jogging through nature sounds dreamy, doesn’t it? Birds singing, sun beaming through the trees, a light breeze cooling your perfectly timed stride.

Until you actually start running. Suddenly, you’re sweating from places you didn’t know could sweat, your right shoe is definitely untied, and that bird? It’s laughing at you. And yet, trail jogging has a weird magic to it. Even when it’s hard — especially when it’s hard — there’s something kind of awesome about huffing and puffing up a hill while being surrounded by trees that don’t care how red your face is. Nature never judges. You can be an absolute mess and still feel better just for being out there.
So yes, sometimes you’re dying a little inside.
But other times, you catch a moment — a view, a breeze, that one rare downhill section — and suddenly it’s all worth it. Just try not to trip over a root while you’re admiring the scenery.
